We're gearing up for the 5th Grade Picnic and Celebration!! Keep reading for more information on each item and look for volunteer opportunities.

5th Grade Picnic
The annual 5th grade picnic will be held on June 5th. This is a kids-only event but we still need some adult help! It'll be held at Hiram Sims Park throughout the day. Look at the SignUpGenius to find an item (or two) to donate: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C054AAFA828A6FD0-48653617-2024
5th Grade Celebration
Taking place on June 7th during the day at Guest Elementary! A few things to keep on your radar:
- BABY PHOTOS: Send 4 photos (at least 1 baby/younger photo and 1 recent) to Hillary by May 30th via email: hlglaser@gmail.com and include your student's name in the subject line.
- GROUP PHOTOS: Please drop your favorite group photos of 5th graders (from Halloween Parade, Field Trips, Color Run, Events...etc.) in this Google folder.
- CELEBRATION TIMING: Plan to be at the Celebration for around 2 hours to enjoy the festivities.
- CELEBRATION GIFTS: Each year, parents get together to plan a surprise gift for our students as a "going away" present. If you're interested in helping, please visit the volunteer sign up above or make a monetary donation.

Middle School Survival Kits
In past years, students received a hygiene kit packed full of goodies they never used. This year, we're opting for "survival kits" packed with things they'll need for 6th grade. These items may include:
- Sanitary napkins
- Deodorant
- Lip balm
- Fresh wipes
- Hair ties
- Bandaids
- Tissues
- Hand sanitizer
- Mints
- Pocket soap
- ...and more!
