5th Grade Festivities
We're gearing up for the 5th Grade Picnic and Celebration!! Keep reading for more information on each item and look for volunteer opportunities.
Monetary Donations
We need help funding all of the great festivities mentioned below. Donations can be made by sending in cash (in a marked envelope).
5th Grade Picnic
The annual 5th grade picnic will be held on June 6th. This is a kids-only event but we still need some adult help! It'll be held at Hiram Sims Park throughout the day. Look at the SignUpGenius to find an item (or two) to donate: https://www.signupgenius.
5th Grade Celebration
Taking place on June 11th during the day at Guest Elementary! A few things to keep on your radar:
- BABY PHOTOS: Send 4 photos (at least 1 baby/younger photo and 1 recent) to Kim by May 31st via email: 5thguestphotos@gmail.com and include your student's name in the subject line.
- GROUP PHOTOS: Please email your favorite group photos of 5th graders (from Halloween Parade, Field Trips, Color Run, Events...etc.) by May 31st to 5thguestphotos@gmail.com.
- CELEBRATION TIMING: Plan to be at the Celebration for around 2 hours to enjoy the festivities.
- CELEBRATION GIFTS: If you are interested in helping defray the cost of the "going away" gifts and the celebration, please send in a monetary donation (cash in a marked envelope). If you're interested in helping, please visit the volunteer sign up here https://www.signupgenius.

Middle School Survival Kits
Students will receive a survival kit with things they'll need for the years to come. Items may include: soap, deodorant, sanitary napkins, fresh wipes, ChapStick and more.
